Assistance Anywhere
Are you having computer problems? The fastest way to get it fixed is through remote support. Click the icon above to download the remote assistance app. Then, give us a call so we can begin resolving the problem.
We can offer an estimate for the service, and then get started right away with the repair.
Remote Access
For remote access, you’ll need to be connected to the internet. Once you’ve installed the remote support app, then you’ll grant Net Engineers access to your computer system. We will be able to see what’s happening on your desktop and hard drive.
If your computer won’t turn on, we will need to complete the repairs in person. If your computer is running but not working properly, then we can work on it through the remote support app.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, we can walk you through the installation. After it’s installed, you can grant the technician you’re speaking with on the phone access to take a look at your computer system. But don’t worry—you’ll retain complete control over access, and you can uninstall the remote support app at any time. We will never access your computer without your permission, and the connection is secure so no one else will be able to access it via the app.
Remote assistance is perfect if you have a desktop computer you’d rather not unhook from everything, or if you don’t have time to bring your computer in and then pick it up when the problem is resolved. It’s also ideal for situations when the problem occurring is only happening intermittently.
With an intermittent problem, we can try to recreate the scenario that typically causes an issue and see first-hand what’s happening. Sometimes, these types of problems are easier to uncover if the computer is in the environment in which you use it.
With remote support, we can:
- Find and remove malware
- Isolate and remove viruses
- Change settings preferences
- Troubleshoot email or browsing issues (given that you’re still able to connect to the internet)
- Create a backup of your files and apps
- Evaluate your system
…and more.
Hardware Failure
There are many issues that must be resolved in person, such as hardware failure. If your computer won’t turn on or load its operating system, then an in-person evaluation will be needed.
In this scenario, you have two options: You can bring the computer in to our store, or you can schedule a technician to come to you. If you’d like a technician to come to you, then call us to schedule someone immediately. If you’d like to bring your computer to us, then we will see you soon.
Whatever you choose, we will start the evaluation process right away. We will offer you a free quote on the cost, and then begin. We keep many parts on-hand so the most common issues can be fixed easily and quickly to restore your computer to you as soon as possible.
You can find our store in Sullivan, in the plaza with First Community National Bank.
