Electronic Disposal
At Net Engineers, we are proud participants in the global initiative to clean up our planet. After all, we only have one.
So, if you’ve recently upgraded your computer equipment, we will gladly dispose of your old computer. If you, like many people, have an old cell phone or two around, we will also dispose of those for you.
We accept, free of charge:
- Laptops
- Tablets
- Cell Phones
- Desktop Computers
- Servers
…and any other information storage devices.
Large specialty items such as monitors are not included in the free service, but we can dispose of your monitors properly for a small fee.
It is especially important to properly dispose of devices with battery packs. So, devices such as tablets, cell phones, and laptops should not be disposed of with their batteries still attached. For newer mobile devices, the batteries are easily removed. Bring your device to us and we will take care of it. Then, you can be sure that your old battery isn’t sitting in a landfill somewhere leaking chemicals that are harmful to animals and humans.
Your Privacy
After you drop off your old stuff, we will make sure that no one could possibly recover any of your information from the devices. We have a device that will destroy the data. Once that’s complete, then we add it to our recycling bin that is then disposed of properly through an electronic-disposal service.
Impact
While each individual battery and device is not a threat, the accumulation of all the discarded devices across the world could be a potential problem. Not only does each device take up space in a landfill, but they also contain elements that can be recycled for reuse.
Do your part to protect the world’s natural resources by bringing your old devices in for recycling.
