Your brand new phone has a crack in it. Now what? You can’t go buy a new one and you don’t have insurance on the device.
Instead of spending several hundreds on a new device, we can replace your screen. With most repairs, the cost is between $99 and $120, which is competitively priced. And the best part is that we carry most parts in stock; we can replace your screen the same day you bring it in.
We can help you get your device back and running fast. We carry parts that are compatible with Apple, Samsung, and other brands. We see Apple products most often, and we carry a wide range of parts to fix the devices.
Bring your tablet in for repair, too. We have parts on hand for Apple and many other brands. If we don’t have the specific parts needed, then we can order them and then repair the device once the parts arrive.
Save yourself hundreds by repairing your expensive tablet instead of buying a new one. Come see us at our location in Sullivan. Our address is below.
If the repair will cost more than the cost of a new tablet, we will let you know before completing the repair.
Tips for Cracked Screens
What do you do if you need your device and you can’t get in to get your screen replaced right away?
First, start by gently brushing off any dirt or debris from the drop. Then grab some tape. Cover the cracked portion with tape to prevent any glass shards from popping out to cut you. Now that the cracked screen is stabilized, you should be able to use it for very basic functions such as phone calls.
If you have a screen protector that still works for the screen, then use it. It’s more to protect you than the phone or device at this point, though.
Then, as soon as you can, bring the device in to our location and we will give you an estimate for its repair.
After the repair has been completed, then there are a couple of things you can do to prevent another cracked screen. Start by buying a heavy-duty case with screen protector. There are many, many options available, but not all are effective. Plan to spend more rather than less on the case. Look for cases that have great reviews online. And only buy the cases that offer protection for the screen as well as the rest of the phone.
Also, try not to have your phone out when your hands are full. Put it up when you’re exercising or active, and keep it off of ledges and places where it can easily be bumped off and dropped by someone walking by. Be proactive about keeping your mobile device protected so you don’t have to replace another screen.
